Sun 1st Apr – LSC (a)
Interestingly curious game of football on Sunday which was more like a practise match in the end. We clearly do not like it when it is just too easy – it probably gives us far too much time to think and we simply fail to play football properly (as we don’t necessarily have to). There were however some bright moments in the game in some well taken goals by Connor Dill (powerful striking), D’Armando (left footed strike), James Penn (inability to NOT score at will), Harry Diamond roof of the net and Matthew King and James Hone on the score sheet.
There were only a few good passing moves in the match (if that) but there should really have been more. There were also some disciplinary problems which will be dealt with. The break will do us good and then maybe some team bonding days out – anybody got any ideas please let me know.
Man Of The Match: James Penn – Great composure and just concentrated on his game, kept his head, when all around were losing theirs and it paid off. well done James.
Player Of The Week: James Penn – Showed leadership during the game and good training during the week, safe to say, this is your week.
Player Of The Week: Harry Diamond – Did your job in the game (whatever job requested to do) without question and continued to work hard (you can only beat the competition that’s in front of you) and played your game. Well done Harry.
DISCIPLINARIES:
D’Armando – One Match Ban (First Available Match) (Full 40 Minutes) – Very Serious Dissent and Continuous Dissent. Possible further Half Match Ban to follow.
Matthew King – One Match Ban (First Available Match) (Full 40 Minutes) – Continuous Dissent and Serious Unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Connor Dill – Half Match Ban (First Available Match) (Full 20 Minutes) – Continuous Dissent.
Please note these bans are to be served during the first available match in full kit/tracksuit supporting team mates on the touchline standing next to the parent(s), designated person or myself for the full duration of the punishment. Thank you for your cooperation in this.
